Pickle earns her first major, 3 points in Fitchburg Ma.; only her second day showing, just SIX months old!
Her second weekend out, she wins Best Puppy in Boston; and goes on to take a Puppy Group 4 later in the day!

Pickle is a rising star here at Owenspride. She grows more and more like Patience each day; and is sure to outgrow her soon. She is a large puppy with a tremendous rear.
Patience Rally News!!
Gains her First Leg in Rally Advanced in Lincoln, R.I. on April 11, 2009.
It's been a few months since we've done Rally with her and she did very well with the jumps and the off leash element of Advanced Level.

2 NEW TITLES obtained by our two fabulous girls, Patience and Pikachu
at the Souhegan Kennel Club Obedience and Rally trials.
Pikachu earned her final leg in Rally Novice and is now:
Majoray's RR Silver Seraph CGC RN
Patience earned two legs this weekend and completed her Rally Novice title as well:
CH. Sherwood's Anticipatience CGC TDI RN

Owenspride welcomes three new mastiffs to the family- visit Pickle, Parsnip and Potamus on their own pages.
Located in a small seaside town on Cape Cod, we are home to four fantastic mastiffs; one schnauzerific miniature schnauzer (Seri ,aka "Pikachu"); and five fabulous ( indoor) felines.
We recently lost our first mastiff; "Owen" , after having had 11 years with him by our side.
My husband, Ron, and I have been students of the breed for over 10 years; two years prior to our purchase of Owen (CH. Brookside's Worth the Weight CGC). We recently produced our first litter; having spent the last 10 years developing an understanding of the Standard as well as forging relationships and mentorships with people who are ardent and knowledgable fanciers and producers of great mastiffs.
Our dogs live in the home with us; sleep in the bedroom if not the bed with us ( not in crates, except for housetraining the puppies of course!); they are with us in the yard while we garden and tend to the koi pond; they enjoy long walks in Nickerson State Park and on the beaches when it isn't tourist season. They receive excellent veterinary care both at the clinic where I am a technician, and at various referral and emergency hospitals as needed. No expense is ever spared for any of our animals' health needs.
We enjoy showing our dogs in conformation and laying around the house loving them. We enjoy everything about them! Yes, even the drool.....ESPECIALLY the drool.
