 Rally News!!

   Patience  gains her latest title,
achieving "Rally Advanced "at the American Bullmastiff trial in Franklin Ma. on November 1 2009
It's been a few months since we've done Rally with her and she did very well with the jumps and the off leash element of Advanced Level.

Also, Pickle and Parsnip had their debuts in Rally Novice the same weekend, one girl went on each of the two days. They both scored in the high 90's and Qualified , and each now have their first legs towards their titles! What awesome girls they are!


 



Located in a small seaside town on Cape Cod, we are home to four fantastic mastiffs; one schnauzerific miniature schnauzer (Seri ,aka "Pikachu"); and five fabulous ( indoor) felines.

We recently lost our first mastiff; "Owen" , after having had 11 years with him by our side.

My husband, Ron, and I have been students of the breed for over 10 years; two years prior to our purchase of Owen (CH. Brookside's Worth the Weight CGC).  We recently produced our first litter; having spent the last 10 years  developing an understanding of the Standard as well as forging relationships and mentorships with people who are ardent and knowledgable fanciers and producers of great mastiffs.

Our dogs live in the home with us; sleep in the bedroom if not the bed with us ( not in crates, except for housetraining the puppies of course!); they are with us in the yard while we garden and tend to the koi pond; they enjoy long walks in Nickerson State Park and on the beaches when it isn't tourist season. They receive excellent veterinary care both at the clinic where I am a technician, and   at various referral and emergency hospitals as needed. No expense is ever spared for any of our animals'  health needs.

We enjoy showing our dogs in conformation and Rally; and I apsire to show them in regular Obedience as well. We love laying around the house, loving them.  We enjoy everything about them! Yes, even the drool.....ESPECIALLY the drool.
