Pikachu ( 91 out of 100) earned her second leg in Rally Novice A on Sept. 14, 2008!!
One more to go and we will have our first non- conformation titled dog at Owenspride!!!

Owenspride welcomes three new mastiffs to the family- visit Pickle, Parsnip and Potamus on their own pages.

Located in a small seaside town on Cape Cod, we are home to four fantastic mastiffs; one schnauzerific miniature schnauzer (Seri ,aka "Pikachu"); and five fabulous ( indoor) felines.
We recently lost our first mastiff; "Owen" , after having had 11 years with him by our side.
My husband, Ron, and I have been students of the breed for over 10 years; two years prior to our purchase of Owen (CH. Brookside's Worth the Weight CGC).  We have yet to produce a litter ourselves as we have concentrated on developing an understanding of the Standard as well as forging relationships and mentorships with people who are ardent and knowledgable fanciers and producers of great mastiffs.
Our dogs live in the home with us; sleep in the bedroom if not the bed with us ( not in crates, except for houetraining the puppies of course!); they are with us in the yard while we garden and tend to the koi pond; they enjoy long walks in Nickerson State Park and on the beaches when it isn't tourist season. They receive excellent veterinary care both at the clinic where I am a technician, and   at various referral and emergency hospitals as needed. No expense is ever spared for any of our animals'  health needs.
We enjoy showing our dogs in conformation and laying around the house loving them.  We enjoy everything about them! Yes, even the drool.....ESPECIALLY the drool.
