Owenspride Absolute Aplomb
aka "Parsnip" D.O.B. 4/25/08 ( Ch. Brookside's Worth the Weight CGC X Ch. Sherwood's Anticipatience CGC) When we recieved the written critique of Patience from Judge Windham ;( Bucks Co. K.C.; 2007) I was struck by a phrase she used to describe Patience's movement. She said she moved about the ring with "absolute aplomb. " At that moment, I thought, "Wow, if I ever have a bitch puppy out of Patience that reminds me of her , I will name her Absolute Aplomb." Parsnip is that puppy!! She has some qualities which Patience has; some which Patience lacks, and of course she lacks in some areas that Patience does not.....we can never know how a dog will end up as a mature adult; but we love everything we are seeing thus far in Parsnip; her only drawback being her coat ; which for us is a trifle too close. Maybe her "winter" coat will be longer! ( ha ha, nice try!) We love everything else about her ; in particular I love her expressiveness; her "spunk" , her loving nature, her brilliance...she has her mother's lovely length and thus far is holding more level than her mother did...we shall see what happens in that regard but she is doing great, in every way! We love her very much. |
